The ideal first brass instrument for younger children, and a brass band staple in its own right. I competed as a championship baritone soloist with Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps. One-to-one lessons for children and adults, in person across Leicestershire or online.

Young beginners: lighter than a euphonium and smaller than a trombone, the baritone lets children from age 7 build sound and reading skills that transfer to any brass instrument later.
Band players: the baritone seat has its own repertoire and role. I teach it as an instrument, not as a stepping stone, though it works well as one.
