What lessons cover

For tenor players moving down: valve technique (single and double plug), low register development, pedal tones, and the section role: how to anchor a trombone section or big band from the bottom seat.

For committed students: orchestral excerpts, jazz lead sheets and audition preparation, taught from professional experience of the actual job.

If you are new to trombone entirely, start with tenor trombone lessons and read my bass trombone guide to see where the road leads.
