I teach in Hinckley and the surrounding villages, either at your home or at an agreed venue, plus online if that suits you better. Lessons are weekly or fortnightly: £20 per 30 minutes or £35 for a full hour at Quad Studios in Leicester, with home lessons available for an additional charge and no contracts either way. The same goes for euphonium, baritone and tuba.

This corner of the county has remarkable banding pedigree. Croft Silver Band rehearses in the village of Croft a few miles away, and Desford Colliery Band, a short drive north, is one of the most decorated names in British brass banding. Ibstock Brick Brass adds another option to the north. A learner in Hinckley has championship-level banding culture on the doorstep, and the low brass seats in village bands are the easiest way into it.

About your teacher

I hold a Master's in Trombone Performance from UCLA and spent four years as Professor of Low Brass at the Nanhai Conservatory of Music. I have played bass trombone professionally with symphony orchestras, opera companies and jazz orchestras. The full record is on the about page.
