I teach in Oadby and the south Leicester suburbs, either at your home or at an agreed venue, plus online if that suits you better. Lessons are weekly or fortnightly: £20 per 30 minutes or £35 for a full hour at Quad Studios in Leicester, with home lessons available for an additional charge and no contracts either way. The same goes for euphonium, baritone and tuba.
I teach at your home or an agreed venue in Oadby and the south Leicester suburbs. Instrument hire is available through Leicestershire Music, the county hub, and instrument advice is part of the free first lesson.
Oadby borders Wigston, which puts Wigston Brass Band, the nearest LBBA member band, on your doorstep, with the Kibworth Band a few miles southeast and the full Leicester city scene ten minutes away. The University of Leicester's halls and music activity sit in Oadby itself, useful for adult learners and students. As everywhere in the county, the bands' shortest queue is at the low brass end.
I hold a Master's in Trombone Performance from UCLA and spent four years as Professor of Low Brass at the Nanhai Conservatory of Music. I have played bass trombone professionally with symphony orchestras, opera companies and jazz orchestras. The full record is on the about page.
