I teach in Melton and the Vale of Belvoir, either at your home or at an agreed venue, plus online if that suits you better. Lessons are weekly or fortnightly: £20 per 30 minutes or £35 for a full hour at Quad Studios in Leicester, with home lessons available for an additional charge and no contracts either way. The same goes for euphonium, baritone and tuba.
I teach at your home or an agreed venue in Melton and the surrounding villages, and online lessons work well for students further out in the Vale of Belvoir. Instrument hire is available through Leicestershire Music, the county hub.
The Melton Band is based in the town itself, giving local learners a band to aim for without leaving Melton. The Syston Band sits along the road towards Leicester, and the wider Leicestershire Brass Band Association scene is within reach for players who want to contest. Rural bands feel the low brass shortage hardest, so a competent trombone, euphonium or tuba player is welcomed quickly here.
I hold a Master's in Trombone Performance from UCLA and spent four years as Professor of Low Brass at the Nanhai Conservatory of Music. I have played bass trombone professionally with symphony orchestras, opera companies and jazz orchestras. The full record is on the about page.
